I'd like to share the printers we have which are connected
pc's networked to the Netgear cable MR814 Wireless modem
Hub with using 1-Windows98, 1-2000 and 1-XP machines
attached via CAT5 and a notebook using Netgear wireless
card. Is this possible without having a tech set it up?

which computer is it connected to? I would reccommend connecting the
printer to the computer with windows XP. Is it XP home or XP pro?

should be fairly easy, just set up the printers on one of the machines, the
xp machine would be a preferred choice, then go to control panel, printer
and faxes, right click on the printer you want to share, when the windows
pops open select share. After you do that go to your network machines and
add printer that you have shared on the server machine. the drivers should
automatically download.

Here's the deal - Cable modem enters down stairs and is
directly attached (via CAT5) to older pII laptop running
Win98 attached to a HP600 OfficeJet. Second PC PIII
running 2000 is directly attached to router and has
Brother 5070 Laser. Third is Toshiba Laptop (winXP Home
Edition) running wireless Netgear PCMCIA card with no
printer. I'd love to be able to print with the wireless to
the laser...
