C Cari MS-MVP Dec 10, 2003 #3 Have you tried going to HP's website and downloading the correct drivers? www.hp.com If HP tell you the drivers are built into XP, then from the command prompt, type sfc /scannow After it's finished, reboot and PC and try to install the printer again.
