Printer Server Migration and consolidation

Raji A

Hi
I need to migrate and consolidate all our print servers into one server. We
currently have 4 servers hosting printers and want to consolidate them onto
one server.

Whats the best solution.
I have tried the Print Migrator, but it only migrates one server, when you
try the second server it over writes the existing printers.

Is there a tool that will consolidated all the printers to one server.
We are running Windows Server 2003 servers.

Thanks

It overwrites the printers because they have the same names. Since you are
consolidating the servers, you will need to make each printername unique.
You can do this first on the old servers, then migrate. The share names
cannot be duplicated either. If you cannot change the printer names so they
are not the same, then you will not be able to make the consolidation.
