printer problem

Hi hope somebody can help me. I have a problem with my
printer. WIN XP does not print using LPT1 parallel port.
My printer is Kyocera FS-1600+. What's wrong with LPT1
when using printer on Win XP. Any idea?

Is the LPT port enable in the BIOS and configured correctly there?
