Printer Problem

I have a new computer running Windows XP. I have a new HP
5650 printer. It prints MS Word, e-mails and Notepad
fast. It prints WordPerfect 7 very slow (about one page
per minute -- I timed it). Is there some reason that XP
and WordPerfect 7 are not compatible? Any suggestion will
be greatly appreciated. Thank you. jps

You'd do best by going to a WordPerfect newsgroup or looking on Corel's
site for Tech Support. I don't use WordPerfect, but they are up to
version 11 now, so maybe 7 is just too old.
