Im using an epson stylus colour 680 printer how can i check the ink levels

No - you'd need the Status Monitor software for an HP printer. Check the HP
web site for the printer model you have to see if that particular software
is available:

No knowledge about Epson printers. however all late models of HP
printers show you how much ink is left in each bottle....mine is one of
the cheapest models and I am well satisfied with the built-in extras
that I never had before. I have a HP Deskjet 3745..with NO PROBLEMS !
and am using XP Home, Burt
