printer paper size

We just purchased an XP from Dell. Each printer that we
use will not let us custom size our paper size. We need
to print on diff paper sizes such as 8.5x7, but cannot.
Dell has refused to help and said it was Microsoft who
has to take care for the problem. Our other computers let
us custom size our paper. Does anyone know how to solve
this problem?

Jason ... from Printers and Faxes, and with your printer highlighted, go to
the top, left, and select 'File'. From the drop-down menu, select 'Server
Properties'. 'Form' tab, and you can then create a new customized paper
size.
