printer not there

I have a printer on my XP machine that isn't showing up
on the other computer on my home network. I can share
files between the computers but I can't see the XP/HP
printer. I have enabled print sharing but it still
doesn't make a difference. Anyone have a clue? All help
appreciated.

Does file sharing work both ways? Always get that working
first, since it is easier, and printer sharing uses most of
the same software (and all of the same hardware).

In addition to sharing printing, you must share that
specific printer.
