Printer not printing color

I recently changed both my color and black ink cartridges in my Lexmark 3100
3-in-one series printer. I cleaned the print heads and connections as
instructions say and have performed this ritual every time I change a
cartridge and never had this happen. The problem is now the color won't
work!!!! The black works fine. Any ideas other than the print head has gone
bad?
 
Check the toolbar of the print app you are using. It is probably set
to print in Grayscale which will only print black and not color.
