Printer malfunction

Cannot print anything off of port LP1. Tried new printer
and had same problem. Anyone have any suggestions?? PLEASE

First of all Enable the "LPT port" in BIOS.
You can access BIOS settings usually by pressin DEL key when the System starts up.

you can also check whether the Port on your system is working fine or have some problems and eventually chekc out the LPT printer cable if its working.

As you say, you have tried many printers, it seems the problem is with Hardware on the System.

If Even this do not help, may i suggest you to use a USB enabled printer.
