will not give you what you purchased it for (i.e. a top
quality photographic printer).
My father had one and it worked well under Me. He then
bought another computer and HP do not (cannot) support it
for this operating system. my advice is to partition your
drive and use XP for everyday stuff and install Me(or 98)
for just photography.
