Sharing Printer, 'HP All-in-One' Possible?

M

MapleE.

Hi:
I managed to install software of 'HP Photosmart 3300 series All-in-One'
other day.
after several 'installation failure' across the screen. Now, the Printer is
doing a great
job, printing, scanning, copying and etc.

I would like to make 'Sharing Printer,' because there are two computers
sitting side by
side on the big table, with this printer at the corner of the table.

How to make sharing this printer, 'HP Photosmart 330 series All-in-One'
with two HP Pavillion computers?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Since the printer appears as a seperate device for driver reasons, the
printer can be shared using "standard" windows and the appropriate printer
driver. The fax/scan functions are shown as working over a network, and when
the appropriate HP software is installed on both PCs, (and written to be
compatable with win XP ) (Some older models have fax software that is not
compatable with win XP, and no updates are available)

First HP Photosmart 3310 All-in-One printer is completly a network model
(wired + Wireless) You can add a router and install the All-in-One. Will be
able to use all the functions

Cari's web site mentioned below should give enough info to setup printer
sharing in win XP.

Most of the all in ones without built in lan support will only "share" as a
printer, due to the lack of appropriate support in win XP. It generally
takes a PC on the network running Windows Server to support fax/scan
sharing, or third party software.
