Printer for all users ??

We use active directories.

How do I set up the XP computer that has multiple authenticated
logins, so that everyone who logs on to the computer can have access
to a printer on another computer or print server (linux) I dont want
to set up the printer through a MS print server. Is this called
workgroup printing? (although its on the domain). How do I set this
up ? Im NOT talking about setting it up on multiple computers but
rather many people logging on to one computer. Some how I want the
printer to be in the "All users" category.

I would just get a print server.... give the print server and IP and
anyone can use it... it's simpler, less B$ and makes more sense...

Leaving this up to end users is not accepable in our environment. They
expect it to be there and would not know how to add it anyway.

Using a print server (a small box with an IP on the network that the printer
connects to) would not leave it up to the users. When adding the printer as
a local TCP/IP port the printer will be there for all users (even those
created after the printer is added) just as a locally installed printer
would be. I see one at CDW by D-Link for $63.41, so I'm sure they can be
found more cheaply than that (given that CDW isn't known for it's
outstanding bargains, hehe).
