Printer errors in others event viewer

Wow this is weird....
I have 4 machines in a windows 2003 active directory
I used to have a printer "deskjet 940c" attached to a host named SAHALEE.
That printer has been disconnected and removed from the machine. It is now
connected to another machine in the domain. Unfortunately every machine in
the domain keeps getting the messages below in the SYSTEM even viewer? Even
when nothing is being deleted or removed?
I removed the hp software from the OLD host. I even stopped connecting to
the printer as a share.

Check out the events below... TOTALLY grateful form any help!

Printer hp deskjet 940c on 192.168.1.203 (from SAHALEE) in session 0 was
deleted.
Printer hp deskjet 940c on 192.168.1.203 (from SAHALEE) in session 0 is
pending deletion.
Printer hp deskjet 940c on 192.168.1.203 (from SAHALEE) in session 0 was
purged.

ahh clever... any way I can fix this? I use a mmc with remote desktop plugin.
I connect to console.
I know when you use mstsc.exe /console you get the option to connect
printers. I do not see this option in the mmc plugin. Only option I see is
to connect to console.
BIG THANKS WAS KILLIN ME!!!

Ahh very Clever...
Is there any way to disable this? I connect with the MMC remote desktop not
the mstsc.exe /console. With the /console switch I know you can select
"connect" printers ect... I do nto see this option in the mmc?

Thanks again... this was KILLIN ME

No clue. I have never connected using the MMC remote desktop (had never
heard of it until just now). I'll dig around.

Alan,

I think he is talking about the Remote Desktops tool available on Windows
Server 2003 and as part of the Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools
Pack:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;304718

There is a "Connect to console" check box when you add or edit a connection.

I don't know what bryceum is trying to say about his printer, but I do know
that this check box is equivalent to the /console command line option for
mstsc.

I got some info from one of the TS testers. I hope this works for you.

You can set the policy on the server to not allow printer redirection, but
on the client settings there is not much choices for TSMMC client.

You can try those registry settings below.

Not sure about the values - it was long time ago I played with those
settings, but this is what I remember.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server
Client\Default\AddIns\RDPDR

FilterQueueType = 0 blocks redirection for all types of printers

FilterQueueType = ffff allows all type of printers to be redirected

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client

DisablePrinterRedirection = 1
