Have a HP All in one printer - HP PSC 950 - P.S,C.F. Has clock with date and
time, of course. Does anyone know if the "fix" for the computer will also
adjust that for the printer? Or, should one contact HP to see if they are
going to issue an update ?
Anyone have words of wisdom ? Thnks in advance.

I would not rely on a fix to XP to have any effect on your printer. (It
might or it might not.) I would instead contact HP.
But, how hard is to just change the time on the clock?

Thanks, Jim. Actually, no tribble a'tall.... It's always changed itself in
the past, but since this year is different, just thot I'd ask here first to
see if anyone had encountered difficulties before checking the HP site.
Sometimes, older models don't get fixes very fast from HP....
Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

Unless you specificly get a fix for that printer then NO, the XP fix
will not fix the DST in anything besides XP. A lot a clock-embedded
devices will have to be manually adjusted.

smlunatick - Thanks... Yuh, went to HP (long trip), they will not be doing
anything for DST for ANY models. Have to do it manually. Imagine that means
that a lot of equipt. - TV's, VCR/DVD players, etc. - will no longer change
auto. IMHO, the whole DST thing should be abandoned all around the globe...
Thanks again for the input.

Blame the US law! They are the ones who have signed the law changing
the DST. Also, DST is only "really" used in North America.
