Printer drivers?

I have a xerox workcentre M940 that I paid quite a bit of
money for and I cannot get it to work now with XP. (Just
upgraded from ME.) I have downloaded the driver from
xerox, but it still will not work. Is there a driver that
will work for this or am I just out of $$$$$? Any help
sure would be appreciated.

When you upgraded from WindowsME, if you do not disconnect the printer, you
corrupt the drivers. Uninstall and reinatall using my instructions at
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article One.htm

Then download a new set of drivers from
http://www.support.xerox.com/go/results.asp?Xtype=download&prodID=M940&Xlang=en_US&Xcntry=USA

Install the new driver package. Do NOT reconnect the printer until the
software tells you to do so.
