Hello,
I don't know if this is already questioned here....
Are my printer drivers running on Wndows XP would work 100% in Vista?
TIA

It will be up to the printer manufacturer to develop drivers
compatible with Vista. However, Vista will have a Windows
XP compatibability mode for installing Windows XP drivers.

Wait for the next release and post your problem in the private Beta Vista
newsgroups. If you are an official tester, you will have been given the
access details in email.

I just bought an EMachine that came with Windows Vista home basic, and a
Lexmark Z645. It will download the printer driver, but when I try to use the
printer it keeps saying offline. Am I supposed to wait fo the new release
too? I can't wait that long...both are brand new and should work, what is
the problem and how do I fix it

I did that, it just went to offline-offline. I called Microsoft, EMachines,
and Lexmark...after trying to download the new drivers for my brandnew
Lexmark printer. Nothing worked, and everyone sent me to the other
party...3rd party responsible. BS! So after talking with Microsoft again, and
EMachines again, I went online and bought a HP printer that was already
compatible with Vista...My son now has two printers!
