Printer drivers for Lexmark x73

I just resenting got a new computer, new windows program,
went from 98 to XP and have not ben able to print
anything. Not communicating to printer is the message
that I get. I have downloaded new drivers and it still
doesn't work

Can someone please help.

Open Printers and Faxes in the Control Panel, right click your printer icon,
properties, Advanced tab, new driver... a wizard comes up, click have disk, browse to
your new driver.
