Having gone from win 98 to XP my x73 program came out in GERMAN
Having tried everythink I couldn't change the text. Finally downloade
'new' driver from lexmark website, now the SCANNER doesn't work

Could someone please HELP m

Disconnect the printer from the PC.

Follow Bruce Sanderson's instructions at his website on how to COMPLETELY
uninstall the printer. Pay particular attention to his last paragraphs.

After the cleanup, reboot. Download a new set of driver software from the
Lexmark website.... install and do NOT reconnect the printer until the
software tells you to do so.

Try going into your device manager and seeing if there is
a bang on your imaging device. Right Click My Computer |
Click Manage | Click Device Manager. If you see a yellow
(?) or (!) on imaging device and underneath it shows the
Lexmark with the same bang double click the Lexmark and
see what the error code is. If it says driversare not
installed or need to be updated do the following:
Click Driver tab | Click update driver | Stay with the
recommended options and just click next on all prompts.
This should update the driver for you and get rid of the
bang on imaging device.
