Printer cuts off right side

I don't know if this is the correct forum - but when I go to print something
out from a website, especially an ebay item, it cuts off the right hand
side. What I see on my monitor is not what I get. I have even tried
printing at a lower percentage and all it does it shrink the cropped size.
I have a Gateway computer and a Canon Pixma MP500 printer.
I have contacted both companies to let them know of the problem and was
wondering if anyone on here has an idea what to do.
Thank you.

This is not a PC or printer issue; I believe you're experiencing a quirk
of Internet Explorer (6 and earlier)--is that your browser? Well, a
quirk of that browser combined with a poorly designed Web page,
perhaps...

Anyway, supposedly, upgrading to IE 7 eliminates this problem, but since
many people are experiencing other problems with it, I won't be
recommending it just yet.

I'm pretty sure browsers such as Firefox and Opera allow you to tweak
your printing parameters accordingly.

If you want to stick with IE, there's always the Internet Explorer
Fitted-Width Printing program at http://www.visiontech.ltd.uk/software/
.. It's not the best solution; the print can be quite tiny! However, at
least nothing will be cut off.

BTW, which Web site are you experiencing this problem with?

Change the setting from Portrait to Landscape.

Ah, ebay (didn't catch it the first time!).

Actually, Gerry's suggestion will work just fine (as long as you don't
mind using landscape).

Also, you can always use your mouse to select what you want to print.
Then when the Print dialogue box comes up, check Selection under Print
Range.

Yes, I saw that it was ebay. In case you didn't see my other post from
last night:
