Print window very slow to come up

When I go to print something the print screen takes thurty seconds to come
up. I am using XP pro with all updates. The printer's are connected locally,
HP Laserjet 6P and HP Designjet 450c. The printers are shared (to one other
desktop) and has the same problem. After reboot the problem is always there
but after a few hours it, sometimes, goes away. (e-mail address removed)

The title and discription sound very close. I followed the links but could
not locate the files or hot fix. I was refered to HP but can not locate
information there, the support has been useless. Live chat is down or just
will not work.

Looking at the mentioned files Comdlg.dll is 6.00.2900.2180 and Spoolss.dll
is 5.1.2600.2180

I think you have to call MS on this one.
