Print Wide Photo e-Mail

When I click on the photo attached to an e-mail, it doesn't print the last two
inches. It may be too wide for my HP1350 printer? It has an .eml extension
which none of my photo software programs will recognize. What can I do to
print the entire photo?

I don't think your printer is the problem...it
sounds like the file may be corrupted.

Have a look at the following link:
http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=.eml
(it may be a good idea to do a full system
virus scan using the most current definitions)

Your best/safest bet in the future would be
to ask the sender to use a different format...
..jpg for example. Better yet...ask them to post
the file on one of the sharing sites and send
you the link.

This photo was taken by a third party and e-mailed to a relative who
forwarded it to me. I have Norton Anti-virus. Several scans since receipt of
the photo show no infections. I will do a manual full files scan now. I have
forwarded it to several parties. They all report seeing the full picture but
none have reported trying to print it. Aree there any other ideas?

The only .eml files I'm familiar with are
Outlook Express messages. Are you
positive the extension is .eml? Maybe
the original sender sent the whole e-mail
message as an attachment instead of
sending just the image file.

Can you right click the image name and
select "save as"? Maybe you could save
the image to your desktop.

I did full virus scan - no viruses
I saved to Desktop. Great picture. Same problem printing - loses last 2
inches.
tried 50% size - same problem. HP suggested an Alternate Driver but didn't
send me instructions. I'm willing to quit. Thanks.

This is an Outlook Express message. The image is jpeg. It's name is image
oo2.jpg. However I still can't get a full print and I can't get rid of the
..eml.

you're saving the file in the wrong format, right click right on the picture
itself, save the photo, not the email message
then, once saved, right click the file, go to print, and you'll have many
options

or, do as i do... if you have paint shop pro, open the photo in it, go to
file, print multiple images, then you can resize and manipulate it's
orientation on the page, then print it,

I did save the photo in .EML becaise the sender forwarded the message and
its attachment. Eventually I accidentally separated the photo from the
message.
It still went to Outlook Exoress to open. After several weeks the photos
everywhere
said no prevue available. Then I accidentally right-clicked and clicked on
Open
with Outlook Express. The photo appeared. It still wouldn't fully print. Then
John Inzer suggested that I choose Print. That opened WinXP Photo Printing
Wizard and eventually I could print the full picture. My other imaging
programs
said it wasn't supported. I even paid $70 for Jasc PaintShop Pro Studio and
it
wouldn't help. Another XP learning experience. Thanks, Vanilla, and
especially,
John.

I have right clicked on the photo in outlook express, not the whole email,
saved as a jpg format and when I click file and go to print, all it does is
go to the printer that I have hooked up to the computer and for some reason I
don't have WinXP Photo Printing Wizard, I am using XP professional, any
suggestions?
