I have always printed my pictures using either
a) Photo Printing Wizard (XP SP2) or
b) from inside Powerpoint / Publisher (2003).
I have just had my wedding photos back and they are very high resolution
(between 3 to 8mb). When I print them through either of these methods the
colour is very poor. (I'm using Epson Photo Stylus R300). Even if i use Auto
adjust on the pics they are printing out very green / too dark.
I have also tried printing out the same pics on an old programme I have
called Arcsoft Photo Studio 5. The pictures print out perfectly - no strange
colour, not too dark. I am not a fan of this software though.
Is there some setting in Xp which is conflicting or needs changing. I would
imagine as they print ok from another program - it's not the printer.
On another computer also using the same model of epson printer and software
we've had the same problem and found using Adobe Photshop Elements provided
perfect printed pics, whilst the same colour issues arose when printing from
photo print wizard.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
