Print to File in XP

In XP, you can choose "FILE:" as the "port" to print to for any printer
driver you install.
But, everytime you print to that printer (driver), a dialog popup box comes
up asking for what file to print to, so you have to enter a filename (and
path) everytime you print.

Does anyone know of a way/hack/driver/source code/etc. that will fix the
filename constant so
that these popups don't occur?

Optimally, the solution would be a "port" that would print to a different
directory for each printer and to a different filename for each print job,
but beggars can't be choosers.

Thanks!

You can add a new local port and name it with the file name. This will
eliminate the popup dialog.

This is ok for a different file for each printer, but not for each print
job.
Maybe you can monitor the output file and rename it once it is finished.
