Print Spooler - System Standby

I'm having an issue with my computer concerning the print spooler. I get an
error message with the title "System Standby Failed" and gives the
description "The service 'Print Spooler' is preventing the machine from
entering standby. Try stopping the service and try again."
Well yes, I can stop the service and the computer goes into standby with no
problem, but that's like sweeping dirt under a rug. I haven't fixed the
problem. There isn't anything in the print queue and I'm running out of ideas.
