Windows 2000 Server with SP4

Print spooler terminated randomly and throws users out of a DOS based
window. Did not have the problem until SP4

Event ID 7031

The Print Spooler service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1
time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000
milliseconds: Restart the service.

Where can I get the hotfix without going through the MS Tech support. Don't
want to pay if this doesn't solve it.

Thanks!

You can't. You won't have to. Hotfixes are always free.

What is the best way to contact them. This has been going on for several
