Print Spool Service will not start

When i try to start the print spooler through
the /Administration/Services, i get the following error:

Microsoft Management Console
Could not start the Print Spooler service on Local Computer
Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has
been marked for deletion.


I have Windows 2000-SP-4.
