Print select by paper size

I have two printers, one handles only letter size and one (down the hall)
that does letter and legal. Is it possible to have Windows automatically
route legal documents down the hall and letter documents here? For example,
if I create a pool consisting of these two machines will it automatically
route legal to the other machine because the first printer isn't available
to print the jobs?

If I can't do this with a printer pool, is there an other way?

If you are using a template, to create the doc, you can set the default
printer when you save the template. In theory that should work, but
occassionaly the default can be 'lost'

Unfortunately I am printing documents out that people send to me so
templates don't help.

I know, I'm just being lazy, but I was hoping...

The easiest way is to swap locations of the two printers...

Works for me but the others.....
