One of the computers at work is setup so that when the
Print Screen key is pressed, the screen will actually
print to our local printer, but the others all simply copy
an image of the screen to the clip board. Where would I
go to change this option so the others can print their
screen also? Thanks

Hi

On the computer that prints to a printer, some software have been
installed to make this possible. You need to find out what software
installation did this, and install that software on the other
computers as well.

Determine what specific 3rd-party application gives the one
computer's <PrtScn> key the ability to print directly to a printer,
and install it on the other computers. In and of itself, Win2K cannot
do this.

But the printscreen button works on my computer and I have
installed no such software to allow it to do this.

Hi

Well, the base OS does not support this by itself, so some
software you have installed have made this happen without
you knowing it.

Greetings --

Well, someone installed something, as Windows has no such built-in
capability.

As it does in all versions of Windows, pressing the <PrtScn> key
copies the entire display to the clipboard. Pressing <ALT>+<PrtScn>
copies only the active Window to the clipboard. To view the screen
capture, open a graphics program, such as MS Paint, and press
<CTRL>+V. This will paste the contents of the clipboard (your
screenshot) into the open file, and allow you to view it or save it as
a file for later use.

Yes you have. Among other possibilities:

Office/Office add-in option

Printer driver option

Screen capture software option

etc.
