Print Screen - can it capture the black DOS screens in Xp Pro?

I would like to capture some text which appears very briefly in the
intial black DOS-type screen which appear on Boot-up in XP Pro SP2

Can this be done with the Print Screen Button in XP ?

If not - does anyone know of any software which will do this ?

Only way is to use VMWare, install XP in the sandbox and then you can
manipulate the graphics by capture/snapshot from POST to power off.

Also...If your just wanting to read what's going on, or want to write down
certain items...you can hit the pause/break key to pause the boot screen.
then hit enter to continue with boot up.
