print quality

I am using dell photo printer 720. the color on the screen is not what i am
getting from the printer. There are lines running through the pictures. the
color is totally off. I have set preferences for best, photo glossy paper as
wel as the kind of paper. Now what?

Results can very enormously on brand of photo paper used. What do Lexmark
(the manufacturers of Dell printers) recommend? Using a cheap brand of
paper will give 'cheap' results.
