Outlook Calendar Printing

When I print my monthly calendars from Outlook 2007 on our photo quality
Dell color laser printer, the category colors are very weak. They are
vibrant on the screen. Is there a way to cause them to print on paper
like they look on the screen? The problem is not the printer.

It's a problem with how the printer handles the shading. Some people
have had better luck printing to pdf then printing the pdf but it never
made a difference for me.

No difference here, either.

Do you know who makes the dell lasers?

I think Dell resells printers from multiple manufacturers. I'm fairly sure
many of them are Lexmarks.

Inkjets are lexmarks, but I'm not sure about the lasers.

One web site indicates Lexmark makes those as well, with proprietary
modifications so that you are forced to get consumables from Dell. That, of
course, is where all the profit is made. For example, the Dell 2230d looks a
lot like the Lexmark E260dn, right down to the front panel buttons and case
coloring.
