Print on an Espon C64 with empty cartridges

Hi,
I would like to print in white and black with my C64, but my color
cartridges seem to be empty and it doesn't want to print. As I don't
want to buy any color cartridges, I would like to jump over this. Have
you heard of any patch which could allow this ?

The only way to get around this I am aware of is to reset the cartridge
chips with a chip resetter (about $5 US on bay).

It will probably lead to very clogged color heads which may become
permanently so. The printer is designed to not work when any color runs
out to prevent this from happening and protect the heads.

You might wish to consider a black ink/toner only printer, or an HP some
of which allow for black only printing cartridges.
