Print handouts in B&W in ppt 2007

When I print handouts in B&W in ppt 2007, the charts do not show the white
fonts and gridlines - unlike in ppt 2003. Do I have to darken the colors in
the charts before printing handouts?
Thanks,
Robin

If you followed the theme, that is, you didn't make manual changes to the
chart text/gridline colors, the charts should print the text and gridlines
correctly. Otherwise, yes, you'll have to darken the colors manually for b/w
printing, because we unfortunately no longer have any access to the b/w
settings for charts.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I was afraid of the answer. Why doesn't ppt 07 have access to the b/w
settings for charts like ppt 03? I'm going to try go back, save the file in
ppt 03, remove ppt 07, and install ppt 03 for the b/w printing.

Any comments? Thanks. Robin

I don't know the answer to that, sorry. I can tell you I don't like it,
either.
