30*60=1.800 Minutes.... what do they charge you per minute?
Just wondering :-> ... priceless, indeed.

Around here, connection time is "free" (i.e. monthly charge) but
downloads over your "allocation" (typically 400 to 500 MB/month) cost
around 15c/MB. Of course, there are better deals around from that
POV, but everything has a downside.

Cheers, Phred.

Thanks for that information.... and "around here" is where ;-) ?
I'm on a DSL-connection, no charges for the amount of transfer
and no temporal limits, it's 60 € /p.month (phone included).
But for "dial-ups" they charge you 3-5 cents/minute, over here :)

1800 * 3 cents would have been 54 € .. quite some money :))

I pay only $5.95 per month for Unlimited Internet access. So no matter
how much I download there is no per minute charge.

It will resume as long as the server you're pulling from supports
resume.

Yep, you're right. I should have mentioned that. And btw,the unoc server
holding the pw2004.iso does support resume :)

Have you tried using Star Downloader? It resumes broken downloads and has
always worked well for me. http://www.stardownloader.com

Thanks - I did try it - and got on well with it for a while - then got
some corrupted files - and that stopped when I stopped using it - which
I admit could be coincidental. Anyway - I'm downloading with IE - and
we'll see how it goes!
