I was running an old Windows program. Everything was fine. Newly installed Windows XP, and upon logging on to the internet IMMEDIATELY was infected with Sasser. Took me forever to fix that, now am addressing the fact that I have no sound. Went through all trouble shooting, everything appears to be working, even when speaking into the mike, the levels go up and down, but no sound anywhere. I am a self-taught novice AT BEST, so no techno jargon, please. Thanks.
