previewing .wav files in explorer?

I would like the ability to quickly preview .wav files in Windows
Explorer. Basically I just want to click once to highlight the file and
have it play. Does anyone know of a way to make Explorer do this? If
not, does anyone know of a third party application that has this
functionality?

If you associate a file extension with an application double clicking that
file type will open it in that application. Right click on your file type
and choose Properties. The general tab shows open with and there is a change
button next to it. Choose change then select whatever application you want
to use.
