How can I prevent users from going on the Internet through Outlook?

Answered in the outlook.general newsgroup. Do NOT multipost!

Multiposting; Posting the same message in different newsgroup separately.
Crossposting; Posting one message addressed to several newsgroups

Crossposting is better cause all the newsgroups will see all the responses
where by Multiposting people won't see what is already suggested/solved in
other newsgroups which is just a big waste of time for people who are trying
to help them.

Tips of the month:
-Creating Signatures
-Create an Office XP CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 3

In Outlook 2003 (and earlier versions, probably), you can
password protect Outlook (consult the help file for your
version). You should be able to prevent access with a
strong password.

Alternatively, purchase an encryption program like
Steganos Safe and put your .pst (Outlook data) file in
the safe. When you close it, no one will be able to start
Outlook and gain access to the internet, your contacts,
or anything else. The Steganos program is quite good
(128 bit encryption) and also works well for the data
files for financial programs such as Microsoft Money.
