How can I stop Windows XP auto-running Microsoft 'Works'
when computer turned on? Have upgraded from W2000 and
this started to happen automatically, have removed 'Works'
program as not used but now get 'cannot find program'
error.

Thank you

Be sure there is no shortcut to it in the Startup folder on the Start Menu.
Also, go to Start, type msconfig in the run box and press enter, go to the
startup tab and disable any reference to it there.

Thank you, msconfig worked,

Paul
