Startup menu, not the start screen

I recently downloaded the Kodak Easyshare program. Now everytime I start up
my computer this program starts up automatically. In the Mac world they have
a startup folder. If you put an icon in the startup folder the program
starts up when the computer starts.

Does Windows XP have a similar function?

How do I stop Kodak Easyshare from starting up when I turn my computer on?

Thanks

Hi Bruce:

Start > Run> Type msconfig and Press OK Button. Look in the Startup Tab
and uncheck Kodak Easyshare.

Startup Folder is Start | All Programs | Startup .
Better to open K.E. and look for "Options" or "Preferences", and uncheck
"Run on Windows Startup" or something similar. Removing the shortcut to K.E.
from the Startup folder may only work until you run the program again, if the
startup option is still checked. [Or it might work; does for HP psc's]

Check the program itself. Sometimes if you click (right or left each
program is different) on the icon there will be a properties box and
you can mark it not to start on boot up.
