I have easyshare program for my kodak camera... the message reads...easyshare
appears to be running in a compatability mode for an older version of
windows, this may make easyshare unstable and it is recommended that
compatability mode be turned off. please see the help topic program
compatability wizard in windows help for details on how to turn off comp.
mode. then it asks... would youlike to stop easyshare to correct this? I
tried to figure this out but I'm an ametuer on the computer. Any advice
would be appreciated.

Uninstall EasyShare.
Download the latest version you can get from the Kodak web page.
Reboot.
Install the latest version of said software that you just downloaded.

My experience with Easyshare software was less than optimal, although that
was 3 years ago and perhaps they have improved.

I detested their cataloging and the editing functions were not great.

I purchased a Card Reader, dumped ES and my life has been much easier with
Digital Image 6.0 for cataloging and editing.

There are also FREE applications available.

Use FREE Picasa for library/storage and editing.

Or IrfanView for viewing and minimal editing.
