How do I prevent Outlook from becoming the default e-mail client every time
it starts? I prefer to use Outlook Express, for compatibility reasons.

That hardly a helpful reply - why not just tell him what he wants to know?

Go to Tools-Options-Other and untick the box that asks if you want Outlook
to check for this.

It's a very helpful reply - the OP obviously has some sort of problem with
Outlook that could be sorted here - in fact the question /really/ should
have been posted in an OE group........
