How can I have the bullets on my slides appear in sequence during the slide
show.

In PPT2002/2003: activate the task pane "Custom animation", select your
bulleted list, choose button apply effect, entrance and choose an effect to
your liking. Could be you have an earlier version of Powerpoint it that is
the case holler back and we will help some more.
