Presentation (NOT DESIGN) Templates

Is there anyone who actually uses the Presentation Templates provided by
PowerPoint? I'm curious about how functional they are for people, but from
what I can see, no one even uses them.
 
They are probably used by novices just starting out in PowerPoint who
accidentally stumble across them using the AutoContent Wizard. Other than
that.....

They're handy when you want to slap out a quick presentation that includes some
content/any content just to demo something or other. Beats having to type all
that stuff yourself. <g>

It can also be useful to create your own versions of this sort of thing so that
when you create a new presentation, it already includes a certain fixed set of
slides; you might want all presentations to have a company logo slide, then a
title slide and a standard "Thank you, end of show" slide.
