presentation cd does not play well

Have created a Powerpoint Presentation using Powerpoint 2003 with my P4 pc
using Windoxs XP. After making Presentation CD with Powerpoint Viewer it
does not play well on older computers - animation lags, music (mp3 files)
finishes much faster while the slides are trying to catch up. What can I do
to make the presentation play better for older computers or is it an
impossible task. Thank you.
