Preparing To Install

How do I stop this message from poping up?

I get it when in WE I right click to Copy etc.

The app is already installed and working.

Why did this start happening so I can maybe prevent it in the future?

I let it run so maybe it won't pop up again but what caused this?

Running MS Secuity Essentials + Malwarebytes.

It's only Tuesday where I live, so it's probably premature to award a
prize, but you're definitely in the running for Vague Post of the
Week.

Looks like a broken installation of a shell extension that uses Windows
Installer (or using a bad install script). You might want to check the
event log to see which product ID is triggering the dialog.

It is obvious from your subject line and mention of the pop-up that it
is an installation issue of *some program* that uses Windows Installer.
What everyone was referring to is that you only detail what if any
programs you installed prior to the pop-up, by stating "The app is
already installed and working". What app? If you installed an app and
this pop-up began right after, then tell us WHAT app. Such pop-ups can
be from a browser add-on, a shell extension.... any software that
installs such helpers... or from Microsoft Office. Since you didn't
give any details, no one can be any more specific.
