Preparing for XP reload

I had a problem and decided to start from scratch. Formatted and
repartitioned the drives, reloaded XP, still have the problems I started
with. Is there anywhere/thing else that I need to remove/change before
reloading the OS in order to truly be starting from scratch?

Difficult to say, John.. you have failed to make anybody here aware of the
problem(s).. some details would be cool as the old crystal ball has iced up
(sub-zero temperatures here in Canada presently)
