preformance with SMART enabled

Martin

I notice that the SMART setting for the hard drives in
the bios is disabled. It says if it is enabled it will be
at the cost of performance. Is it worth enabling SMART?.
Both my hard drives are fairly new. Thank you

Yes. Because the SMART feature is an additional test of the hardware
during bootup (only) you will not get a general performance loss by
enabling it.
