I have used a pre pre-SP2 install cd is to provide certain files needed in a
software install. Do I need to re-install SP2.

Did you look to see if it was still installed?

Please clarify what you mean by "to provide"? Do you mean you copied
files from the CD or something else? What process did you use? What
software install were you undertaking?

What problems, if any, are you now encountering?

Hope this helps.

Why not just slipstream your pre SP2 disk with SP2?
