What training resource??

What type of file are you opening in FrontPage- you can open HTML/HTM, JS,
ASP, ASPX and CSS files in FrontPage (generally all/most of those associated
with websites).

If you give us some more information (such as a link to this "training
resource" you refer to), we might be able to assist you.

FP won't (or likely will not) open excel or word docs if that's what you're
asking; it's a web page editor, not a word processing tool or spreadsheet.
It deals with plain text files.
HTML, JS, ASP, ASPX, CSS are all text (ASCII) files - readable in a text
editor like notepad.

Hi Kathleen

I am referring to the Microsoft training lessons which are listed on the
right hand taskbar when front page is loaded. The lessons run ok until it
comes to the practice sessions which should open front page on you computer,
this is where you should be able to practice "hands on" for each lesson.

These practice lessons downloand and work well with excel, its front page
2003 i am having problems with. Can you assist please.

Regards
james

Is this happening with all the training sessions or just one in particular?
I just tried "Design a page with layout tables" and when I clicked on
"Practice in FrontPage" it created a new web site in "My web sites", opened
the web site and then opened "index.htm" without crashing.
